Trail Conditions

March 6, 2026

Northgate received about 5 cm of snow over the last couple of days. Trail conditions are generally good, grooming will occur over the next day or two to pack any residual snow. Weather forecast for the upcoming week is variable and includes above 0 temperatures and possibility of showers, so take advantage of current trail conditions while they last.

It's chilly, and the trails are in decent condition. Northgate received a few cm. of snow this past week, but our groomers have been out packing the snow for your riding and snowshoeing pleasure. Parkline and the Edwards Connector Loop are in the best riding condition, and the Ol' Chap (5 km) and Gaylene's Garden/Jim's Ridgeline (8 km) loops have also been groomed. The more riders and snowshoers the better the conditions get. Get out and ride!

Northgate received approximately 30 cm of snow this past week, but our grooming crew has been out working on the trails. COOP Family trail was snowmobile groomed Friday, Feb 20.  Single track bike trails were Snodog groomed Feb 19. Parkline, Edwards Connector, Birder Loop, Gatehouse and Ol Chap have been groomed a couple time and are in moderate to good condition for biking. Other trails (Sunday Drive, Bobsled, Jims Ridgeline, Gaylene's Garden) have been single groomed and are in fair to good condition for biking. We could use some snowshoers and bikers to help set the trails.
